The Membran-Tech UF Ultrafiltration system is designed for advanced dairy applications requiring milk or whey protein concentration, for product standardization or to maximize production efficiency.

The system uses advanced spiral wood membranes with pore sizes ranging from 10 to 100 nm (5,000 to 20,000 Da) and typical operating pressures between 2 and 10 bar. Membran-Tech UF systems operate fully automatically and deliver consistent milk protein content unaffected from raw milk seasonality while dramatically increasing cheese production yields.

  • Designed and manufactured for industrial 24/7 operation in compliance with European regulations CE and regulations and guidelines.
  • Available in various capacities up to 20+ tons/hour (for incoming milk) and can process both cold and hot milk, depending on customer requirements.
  • The size and capacity depend directly on the processing temperature. Processes with cold milk are generally safer from a hygiene perspective but require a more expensive and larger UF configuration.
  • Maximum continuous operating time before CIP cleaning is 8 hours.
  • Operation is fully automated with electronic control of protein concentration ratio and flow rate.
  • Equipped with specialized software ensuring high safety and stability, protecting the product while eliminating any possibility of human error.
  • High performance and long membrane lifespan.
  • The system is equipped with a fully autonomous CIP system, dosing of solutions, cleaning time and temperature, as well as CIP step changes, are executed automatically.
  • The system is fully autonomous and skid-mounted on a stainless-steel frame minimizing required space and installation time while facilitating maintenance and membrane replacement.
